The challenge
A multinational airline relied on manual identity creation and repeated directory-group assignments to onboard employees. Offboarding also needed to account for time zones and shift workers still on duty.
The solution
Our founder led and developed a backend automation program using PowerShell, Python and API integrations. It connected IdentityIQ, Azure AD and on-premises Active Directory to automate identity creation and group-based access assignments.
The workflow standardised access across departments, routed approval-required access to direct managers and handled offboarding access removal with consideration for time zones and shift work.
The result
About 5 hours → about 30 minutes
Onboarding processing time for a batch of approximately 20–25 new joiners.
